FAQ’s

Do I need Pilates experience to join?

Not at all. Our classes are suitable for all levels — from complete beginners to experienced movers. Our instructors will guide you through everything you need to know, offering modifications and progressions so you feel confident on the reformer.

What should I wear?

We suggest comfortable, fitted activewear that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene — you can bring your own or purchase a pair at the studio.

Do you provide equipment?

Yes — all reformer machines and props are provided. Just bring yourself (and a water bottle if you’d like).

Where can I park?

There are several parking options nearby:

  • The Corn exchange (after 6pm)

  • The Co-op (3 minutes walk)

  • Derwent Street Car park

  • Field Lane Car park

Do you offer private sessions?

Absolutely. We provide 1:1 and duet reformer sessions for a more tailored experience. Perfect if you’re recovering from injury, want extra guidance, or simply prefer a personalised approach.

What is the minimum age to join classes at Flo.? / Can I bring a minor?

A parent or guardian must complete a waiver on behalf of anyone under the age of 18.

  • Ages 16–17 – A waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian, and they must accompany the minor on their first visit.

  • Ages 13–15 – Must have a signed waiver and be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times while at Flo. Pilates Club.

  • Under 13 – Unfortunately, for safety reasons, children under 13 are not permitted on the premises (with the exception of designated parent & baby sessions).

What is your no-show policy?

If you book a class and don’t attend, the session will be forfeited.

  • Membership holders – A missed class may also incur a no-show fee.

  • Class package holders – A missed class will be deducted from your package.

We kindly ask that you cancel your booking at least 12 hours in advance if you can’t make it, so we can offer your spot to someone else.
